Mischu Laikah - Strong Woman

Vandaag (Moederdag) is de nieuwste single van de Nederlands/Carribische artiest Mischu Laikuh gereleased. Het lied heet "Strong Woman" en is opgedragen aan alle sterke vrouwen, maar vooral alle moeders.

Mischu Laikah is constantly busy making her sweet sweet blend of Alternative-Reggae/Soul/RnB. The artist is fast gaining the respect and admiration of her fans spanning the seven continents for her music which touches on real life issues and situations.

Following the thus so far successful digital release of "Things You Do", Mischu Laikah is stolking the fire with the Mothers day release of the powerful and emotionally charged track ‘Strong Woman’

The Dutch Caribbean artist has dedicated this song to Women in general, but especially for mothers, who Mischu Laikah feels are the real "Strong Women". The lyrics of the song pay homage to the Mothers that go through the struggles of life and the women that are able to rise above the obstacles which lay before them.

The song sends a powerful message not only to women but also to men, telling a story of the struggles which women endure in the hopes of encouraging more respect and recognition from males, while serving as a source of encouragement for women to stay motivated. The message to men is actually very simple, love the strong women in their lives and appreciate them for the things which they must go through or have been through.

The riddim for Strong Woman was produced by Jamaican producers Mario C and Riff Raff. Initially the riddim was known as the"Rain drops Riddim" but, specially for Mischu Laikah, the riddim has been modified to add a soothing feeling and to compliment Mischu Laikah's soft vocals and powerful lyrics. The end result is that the track has adopted a sweet grooving bass line which intertwines gracefully with live drums giving the track a strong new life of it's own.
